Beginner/Intermediate Knitting, Crochet & Embroidery - 10 Classes

$160.00

In this 1-hour class, children as young as six can learn the basics of knitting, and progress at their own pace through purling, increasing and decreasing, and changing colors. Enrollment is kept small so lots of encouragement and individual attention are always available. As the child is ready, crochet and basic embroidery will be gently introduced, gradually expanding the tool box of skills, along with confidence, dexterity, and joy in making beautiful, practical things.

Projects available in this class include adorable animals and dolls, essential treasure pouches, pencil cases, candle mats, and even scarves & hats for those who are motivated.

Classes are Mondays & Wednesdays, 11am-12pm.

No experience is necessary to join this class. The only requirements are that the child wants to be there and can comfortably focus on a project for at least 30 minutes.

Children who want to join but have significant difficulties with focus, stillness, small motor ability or verbal instructions will find all the extra support their need in my Tuesday class for neurodiverse learners.
