Mondays 3:30-5pm
Start the week with a chill afternoon working on self-designed projects using embroidery, X-stitch, knitting & crochet. All children should come with a hearty snack and a desire to hang out with friends and work steadily on a project. Maximum 12 students.
Tuesdays 3:30-5pm. It is not necessary to attend every week.

Tuesdays 3:30-4:30pm
Our littlest handworkers will spend these afternoons in a cozy room with friends, and a collection of beautiful handwork supplies. Those who are ready will knit, crochet or embroider small projects under the tutelage of Miss Indigo, with help from Ms. Nicola. Maximum 11 students.
All children should come with a hearty snack and a wish to relax and work on a project.

Wednesdays 3:30-5pm
Enjoy a mid-week hang-out and do handwork. These older students will have a chance to design a project for themselves, and get all the help they need to bring it to life. “The Doll” project is an option for those who want a chance to show off their interests and personality in this unique way. Students should come with a hearty snack and a desire to work on a project. Maximum 12 students.

Thursdays 3:30-5pm
Developing confidence using a sewing machine opens up a whole new world of creativity. While one item of clothing is created from beginning to end, skills are learned to make many more projects in the future. Maximum 8 students.

Developing confidence using a sewing machine opens up a whole new world of creativity. Saddle bags & backpacks, patchwork & pj’s… these students will learn a lot about machine sewing while having fun designing their own projects.

Tuesdays 11am-12:30pm
From basic hats, mittens, and slippers — to more challenging socks, gloves, and shawls, adults in this class have the opportunity to learn good basic knitting skills, and take them as far as they want to go.

10 Classes

Wednesdays 1:30-3pm
Using a collection of gorgeous plant dyed threads, felt, and natural fiber fabrics, students in this class will design their own embroidery and cross stitch projects, including stitch books, handwork kits and bags, journal covers, and framable compositions. Natural dyeing, drawing, 3-D design, and advanced color theory all come into play, while fine motor ability and attention to detail become highly refined.

Fri & Sun 11am-12:30pm
Developing confidence using a sewing machine opens up a whole new world of creativity. Meeting every student as a beginner, this class will quickly progress to clothing design, draping and all the skills necessary to complete an original garment. While one item of clothing is created from beginning to end, skills are learned to make many projects possible.
Fridays & Sundays 11-12:30

Wednesdays 6:30-8pm
Learning to use a sewing machine with confidence opens up a whole new world of creativity and practicality. Students in this class will quickly progress from frontwards, backwards and zigzag, to buttonholes, zippers and 3-D forms. Building on that good foundation, students will design and create an item of clothing for themselves from scratch, developing advanced skills on increasingly challenging projects of their choice.
Class includes completion of an original garment, approximately 10-12 classes. It is not necessary to attend every week.
Wednesdays 6:30-8:30pm.
All materials are included except fabric for the garment.
